There are pretty good directions further up on how to do that. I had to do that part before it would work for me. There is no 64-bit driver posted for the LiDe 20 so what leads you to believe the N670U can work in Win 7 圆4 The 32-bit driver does state it is for both scanners, including for Win 7. Worth a try if you get no other responses I suppose.ġ) Install the toolbox that goes with the driver you installed.Ĥ) Let the computer start up completely (let it also run long enough to indicate that it's installed the new drivers if it says it's doing that)Īlso, you might want to read up in the thread - at one point someone said that they had to trick the device into thinking it had the disk. It does prove, though that a N670U can work in a Windows 7 64 bit environment. Had I been using the older driver, I would have also been using the older toolbox, but since i moved to a higher level driver (from LIDE 50 to LIDE 60), I also installed the toolbox that went with it.Īnyway, here is what i would do, but I'm not sure it will work. This is not a definitive answer - hopefully someone else will have one, or you could Google the error - but I would install the toolbox that was available there with the driver than you loaded up.

I got some of those types of errors (not the exact ones) when I was going through this.
